Last month, Lauren Conrad found herself back where she's most at home -- on the beach and in front of the camera. Using the gorgeous rolling hills and beautiful beaches of Malibu and Santa Monica as a backdrop, the two day shoot was designed to showcase mark's hot new first quarter products. In addition to the great locations, Lauren was thrilled to be working with mark's celebrity makeup artist, Jillian Dempsey.
Of course, this combination would put anyone in a good mood, and Lauren was no exception; showing up bright and early to check out all the new products and get to work with Jillian on creating some new looks. As Jillian and Lauren prepared for the shoot, the photographer and crew set up for the long day ahead.
We were really pleased to see that the weather was perfect, which meant that (even though we were there to work) we could look forward to some fun in the sun and some great shots of Lauren. The blue skies really set just the right tone for the Instant Vacation theme, and it wasn't hard for Lauren to get right into the spirit, having a great time posing for the cameras and enjoying the scenery.
Even at the end of a ten hour day, Lauren was still energetic and enthusiastic about the next day's shoot.
Photo Shoot - Day 2 Location: A Santa Monica Beach House
On the second day, Lauren was not only really excited to get to work on the beachside shoot, she was also overjoyed about her special guests -- her parents and little sister, Breanna. Besides getting to watch her big sister in action, Breanna was there to learn everything she could about mark -- having just joined our family as a mark Representative. She was especially excited about hosting her first mark party with her brand new mark Party Selling Kit.
As for Lauren, she was up for another full day of products and posing. In the end, it was two great days of makeup, accessories, sun and fun; and from what we saw, fans can look forward to some great pictures in upcoming Magalogs.
