For a special occasion, you want especially spectacular spirals. So after hair has air-dried (or been blow-dried using a diffuser), mark hairstylist Silvia Cincotta says to curl any frizzy-looking corkscrews with a 1” barrel iron, holding the barrel at the roots and wrapping individual curls around it. Start at the top of the head and work downward. Then finger-comb a dime-size amount of curl goddess styling cream through the hair to keep corkscrews frizz free.
